Ringworm Prevention:

Bathe Regularly - Wash every day and make sure to pay special attention to the areas around your toes, as this is often neglected.

Sleep Overs - If you or your child sleeps over at someone else house, pack your own pillow & blankets.

Avoid Sharing - Don't use anyone else's grooming items. This includes combs, brushes, or towels.

Clean Socks - Wear clean socks every day!

Don't go barefoot - Athlete's Foot can be avoided by wearing flip-flops, shower shoes, sandals, or other foot apparel when walking around public places such as locker rooms.

Animals - If you observe an animal to have scaly patches it is possible they have ringworm, this is especially true of cats. Take them to the veterinarian for a checkup. Avoid touching the infected areas.
